WWE is making roster changes next month

Last week, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there were talks of another draft and the idea is to stick to a hard split for Raw and SmackDown Live.

Post Wrestling’s John Pollock has confirmed that the next WWE draft is scheduled for next month and it will begin on Friday, October 11th on Friday Night SmackDown in Las Vegas. The draft will continue into Monday Night Raw on October 14th from Denver, Colorado.

In recent months, Vince McMahon implemented the “Wild Card Rule” that allows wrestlers to switch back-and-forth between brands but the plan is to back away from the “Wild Card Rule” in October.

Friday Night SmackDown on FOX will begin on Friday, October 4th. They will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of that show with several big names returning for guest appearances.
