At the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, Bobby Lashley took on Omos and MVP in a handicap match. Before this match, MVP and Omos told Cedric Alexander to leave because he was trying again to get in MVP’s good graces. MVP told Cedric that the Hurt Business will never get back together.
Omos dominated for the first few minutes and then MVP tagged himself in. After MVP hit a running boot to Lashley’s face, Omos followed up by running Lashley through the barricade at ringside. Cedric Alexander got involved and the distraction allowed Lashley to spear Omos out of the ring.
Lashley won the match after forcing MVP to tap out to the Hurt Lock. During his post-match celebration, Lashley held up a replica WWE Championship that was given to him by a fan.
