WATCH: Daniel Bryan says he has zero faith in WWE creative

For those of you that missed Daniel Bryan’s interview with The Gorilla Position podcast, you should listen to it. As always, he is brutally honest and never holds back. The video of the interview is up now and you can scroll down to watch it.

Among several things, Bryan was asked about a possible WrestleMania match with The Miz since they have a history that dates back to Bryan’s debut in the company as Miz’ “rookie” during the reality show days of NXT.

Bryan said, “I am definitely up for it. You ask me that question, I will answer it with a question. Do you trust WWE with telling that story from now until WrestleMania 35? What in the last several years has shown to you that something like that is possible here?”

He added, “I think that would be awesome. I think it would be something that the fans would be excited to see. Whether or not we can prolonge because people want to see me punch Miz in the face. I want to punch Miz in the face. Whether we can prolonge that on television for that period of time, I don’t know.”

It’s worth noting that Bryan has yet to sign a new contract with WWE. He is willing to stay but only wants to work a limited schedule. It seems like the leverage is in his favor because New Japan Pro Wrestling or Ring Of Honor would likely offer big money to get him.
