The allegations made by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon have seriously hurt his reputation as a business leader. Claims of sex trafficking and sexual abuse have overshadowed his legacy as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. In fact, it seems that he has also been removed from Forbes’ Top 400 Wealthiest List.
Janel Grant accused Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis of serious misconduct, including sexual assault, emotional abuse, and sex trafficking, with allegations dating back to March 2019 and a lot of things have come to light after the lawsuit was made in January this year.
Afterwards, the Mr. McMahon documentary released last month and put him back in discussions again. Vince McMahon is a major figure in the business world, having owned WWE since the 1980s under Titan Sports. However, that’s all in the past now as he has nothing to do with WWE anymore.
Forbes has released its list of the top 400 wealthiest Americans for 2024, with Elon Musk at the top, worth $244 billion. He is followed by Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg, each valued at $197 billion.
However, Vince McMahon is not on this year’s list. He was ranked No. 366 last year with a net worth of $2.7 billion, but he has dropped off the list in 2024, now valued at $2.5 billion. It is to be noted that McMahon is currently ranked #1286 worldwide.
The lawsuit is currently on hold pending federal investigation. Regardless, we’ll have to see what will become of Vince McMahon in the end, as things simply do not look good for him, even from a financial standpoint.
