Update on recent NXT call-ups, reason why most of them debuted in brief segments

For those of you wondering about the new NXT call-ups and why most of them debuted in odd segments this week, it’s because Vince McMahon told the writers that he just wants to see their faces on television right now and not necessarily in matches.

Nikki Cross wrestled but others like Heavy Machinery, EC3, and Lacey Evans did not but they were included on Raw and SmackDown Live in short segments.

WWE has yet to decide how to use them and what shows they will be on so the writers are just figuring out ways to incorporate them into the background for now.

McMahon feels that by showing their faces, people will get to know them because he feels like most fans don’t know who they are.

For those of you that have asked about Lars Sullivan, there’s nothing new on him after he flew home to Colorado after having an anxiety attack. The company told him that the door is open for him to return when he is ready. The plan was for him to start a big angle with John Cena that would lead to a match at WrestleMania. We don’t know if that is still the plan for him.
