UFC’s Israel Adesanya: ‘WWE is definitely something I’ll try my hand at later on just for fun’

Israel Adesanya has expressed interest in stepping into a WWE ring one day.

The UFC Middleweight Champion scored a victory over Jared Cannonier at UFC 276 on Saturday night. He mimicked the Undertaker’s ring entrance with an urn and hat while walking out to the Octagon. Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, Pat McAfee, and Nick Khan were all in attendance.

While speaking with BT Sport after the fight, Adesanya stated he came up with the idea for the entrance on Tuesday and didn’t realize the McMahons were in attendance for the event. He grew up as a wrestling fan during the Attitude Era.

Adesanya stated he’s open to wrestling just for fun in the future.

“Definitely, that’s something I’ll try my hand at later on just for fun. Not saying it’s going to be a full-time job, but I’m definitely going to jump in the WWE or something along that line just for the entertainment factor cause I grew up jumping off the couch, broke my arm…doing shooting stars. Yeah, living my dream.”
