Two former WWE stars returning, WrestleMania reunion in the works?

It looks like a reunion could be in the works at WWE WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, Florida.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE has booked Brodus Clay and Cameron for WrestleMania weekend. This may set the stage for a Funkadacyls reunion at WrestleMania in one of the title matches. I won’t post spoiler info here on the match but click here if you want spoiler news on one of the planned matches for WrestleMania.

Clay started on the main roster as a fun-loving character after being teased for weeks that he would be debuting as a monster heel. He was released in 2014 and later worked as Tyrus in Impact Wrestling. He currently hosts a show on the FOX Nation streaming service and has been in the news over the past year after being accused of sending inappropriate text messages to a former co-host.

Cameron appeared on Tough Enough in 2011 on the USA Network and was later signed to a contract. She was also featured on Total Divas during the early years of the show. She was released in 2014 and has attempted to get into acting in recent years and has also teased a comeback in pro wrestling.

There is no confirmation on what they will be doing at WrestleMania weekend and their booking could just be related to WrestleMania AXXESS. However, it’s worth noting that WWE has not done anything with Brodus and Cameron in years and it’s certainly possible that a reunion with Naomi could be the goal.
