The first main event is set for WWE Extreme Rules

The match has not been announced yet on WWE television but the Nationwide Arena posted a video to hype next month’s Extreme pay-per-view and the main event listed is Becky Lynch defending the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair.

Belair won a Fatal-4 Way match on SmackDown to earn the rematch against Lynch. Zelina Vega, Carmella and Liv Morgan were also in the Fatal 4-way match.

The other match scheduled to headline Extreme Rules is Finn Balor challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. In the storyline, Balor was supposed to get the title shot at SummerSlam but John Cena slipped in and signed the contract.

On this week’s SmackDown, Balor said that he will eventually take care of Cena but he wants his shot at Reigns. Brock Lesnar was not on the show. Click here for news on why Lesnar was not at SmackDown.
