There is one surprise entrant backstage at the Royal Rumble that is confirmed for tonight and the fans will be happy.
Carlito is backstage, as first reported by PWInsider and he is scheduled to be in the Men’s Rumble match tonight. Carlito was actually advertised for the Raw Legend’s Night show a couple of weeks ago but there was apparently some miscommunication because he was never actually booked to be there so he never flew out to the show.
PWInsider also reports that Carlito is also scheduled to be at Raw tomorrow night and there’s talk about him getting a tryout to be a Producer for the company.
Tonight’s appearance in the Rumble would be his first time appearing on a WWE pay-per-view in 10 years. Aside from the 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony to induct his father, he hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since his release in 2010.
