Shelton Benjamin has joined the All Elite Wrestling roster with his debut on the fifth anniversary of AEW Dynamite.
Earlier in the day, prior to the broadcast, MVP had teased that he had an announcement. At one point in the show, he gave his business card to Mercedes Mon? and said he would be interested in bringing her on board with his services.
Later on, MVP had a brief dedicated interview segment carved out for him to make his announcement, which was interrupted by Prince Nana, looking to get some revenge for MVP’s remarks from last week, wherein MVP criticized Nana’s managerial skills and blamed him for Swerve Strickland’s failures as of late.
Nana reminded MVP that he used to be a wrestler and suggested they lace their boots right then and there, but MVP said “That sounds like a complaint. I don’t deal with complaints. But he does ….” and introduced Nana and AEW in general to his business partner (and the president of the complaint department), Mr. Shelton Benjamin ? who stole Nana’s coffee and walked off with MVP.
