Ronda Rousey will be returning to the ring next weekend at the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
It was announced after SmackDown that Rousey will team up with Naomi to take on SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville in a tag team match. The match was made after a post-match angle where Rousey ran out to make the save as Flair and Deville were attacking Naomi. This occurred after Flair defeated Naomi in a title match.
Prior to the Flair vs. Naomi match, it was announced that there would be consequences from Vince McMahon if Deville got involved to interfere on behalf of Flair. Deville made her way out to the ring after Naomi’s loss and that is when she and Flair attacked before Rousey ran out.
Excluding her return at the Royal Rumble, this would be Rousey’s first match since 2019 at WrestleMania 35.
