Report: Update On WWE’s Adjusted Live Event Schedule

WWE is set to hold fewer live event, or house shows, in the United States in the next few months, and a new report provides an update.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that there had seemed to be a change in the company’s approach to live events at the end of the year. As of this writing, only two WWE live events are slated to be held in the United States before Christmas. These events are on September 28 and 29. Otherwise, no domestic events are scheduled for nearly 90 days.

As previously announced, WWE is set to hold a house show in Orlando on December 28. This event will be up against AEW Worlds End. In an update, Sapp writes that the WWE Holiday Tour will continue, as it has been a notable success for the company. Otherwise, WWE is set to hold live events in the United Kingdom in October and November. This comes after the company’s recent tours in Europe, Japan, and Mexico throughout 2024.

Per Sapp, talent expect the trend of WWE holding more live events internationally to continue. Sapp writes that talent has not explicitly been told about domestic house shows being reduced. However, talent have seen the trend, and they are said to be in favor of the reduced schedule.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
