MVP’s AEW debut was followed by news of another former WWE Superstar potentially joining the promotion.
During last week’s episode of Dynamite, MVP appeared in a promo segment with Prince Nana to send a message to Swerve Strickland.
Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is expected to join AEW, following previous reports that he and MVP were planning to reunite as The Hurt Syndicate.
When MVP and Lashley parted ways with WWE, reports indicated that Shelton Benjamin would join them in AEW, which appears to be the case.
According to Ibou of WrestlePurists, Benjamin will likely sign with AEW, as he was expected to work with the promotion earlier this year.
Although the two parties discussed the matter in March, nothing materialized at the time. It is currently unknown when Benjamin will make his AEW debut.
