Berto, also known as Humberto Carrillo, has re-signed with WWE.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Carillo has re-signed with WWE. His contract was set to expire alongside that of his tag team partner, Angel Garza. Garza later said that he had re-signed, and Sapp has also confirmed Garza has re-signed as well.
Sapp writes that both deals were reached around the same time, and it is a multi-year deal that lines up with Garza’s. The report notes that Garza and Carrillo are expected to continue teaming together. They have been featured as members of Legado del Fantasma recently.
Humberto Carrillo has been with WWE since 2018. He competed on NXT and 205 Live before he joined the main roster in 2019.
Outside of WWE, Carrillo has wrestled for The Crash Lucha Libre, among other promotions.
