Report: AEW Has Had Talks With Bobby Lashley, MVP, And Shelton Benjamin

All Elite Wrestling has had talks with Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin, according to a new report.

Lashley and MVP recently entered free agency after their WWE contracts expired, and MVP has teased that the Hurt Business is getting back together. Fans increasingly started buzzing when Totally Harmless Concept LLC filed to trademark “The Hurt Syndicate”.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that AEW has had talks with Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin. However, there is no word on whether they reached a deal or if one was imminent.

Per Sapp, there have been discussions and plans to continue a faction similar to The Hurt Business outside of WWE. Whether that happens in AEW remains to be seen.

The Hurt Business was a key part of WWE programming during the pandemic era. Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship, and Benjamin and Cedric Alexander won the RAW Tag Team Championship.

Alexander remains with WWE, but Benjamin was released in a wave of cuts in September 2023. He has since returned to competing on the independent scene.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
