QT Marshall Helped Jey Uso Reclaim ‘Yeet’ Catchphrase After Trademark Dispute

QT Marshall claims that he helped Jey Uso reclaim his trademark for “Yeet” after its use was challenged due to a previous trademark filing.

In December, WWE obscured Uso’s “Yeet” t-shirt and took it down from their online store when it was discovered that independent talent Kasey Huffman had filed for the trademark in 2021.

However, the t-shirt quickly reappeared, and Marshall mentioned on the “Gabby AF” podcast that he was able to help resolve the situation through his connections.

Marshall said,?“I noticed that the t-shirt was available, and then it disappeared. I contacted Cody and told him, ‘I know the person who has the rights to the word.’ He asked, ‘Do you think you can get in touch with him?’ I replied, ‘Yes, I’ll call him right away.’”

Marshall added, “I’m not sure how it happened, but I got in touch with that individual, spoke to Cody, and we were in a group chat. Within a day or two, Jey Uso had the trademark. I’m not claiming credit for it.”

Jey defeated Bron Breakker to win the WWE Intercontinental Title last week on RAW.
