Kofo Kingston made his return to the ring, and Odyssey Jones made his debut on WWE RAW.
Kingston — who has been out of action with an AC joint sprain in his shoulder — last wrestled on WWE television on June 24 episode of WWE Raw. There, he lost to Karrion Kross. In a tag team match against the Final Testament on the August 5 episode of WWE RAW, Kingston made his return. He and Xavier Woods were outmatched, as Karrion Kross’ presence at ringside loomed large.
Odyssey Jones then came down and took the fight to Kross. Thanks to his help, the New Day scored the win. Jones then celebrated with Kingston and Woods in the ring.
Jones was previously drafted to WWE Raw in 2023 and 2024 but this marked his first appearance on the show.
In a backstage segment, Kingston and Odyssey could be seen continuing their celebration when a confused Xavier Woods walked in. He asked how the two knew each other, and Kingston explained that he met Jones while rehabbing at WWE’s Performance Center. Odyssey said he knew they needed help with the Final Testament.
Odyssey Jones has been with WWE since 2019. He has battled injuries during his time with the company, as he previously suffered a ruptured patellar tendon.
