Matt Cardona To Make In-Ring Return At GCW Homecoming Night Two

Matt Cardona is returning to the ring.

Matt Cardona has been absent in recent months, as he suffered a torn pec in April. He underwent surgery, and he has been on the road to recovery ever since.

At the GCW Now And Forever event on August 2, Cardona came to the ring. He teased that his wife, WWE Superstar Chelsea Green, was there before he revealed that he was just trolling. Cardona also announced that he would make his return to the ring at GCW Homecoming Night Two on August 25. He did not name his opponent in the announcement.

Cardona has previously called Homecoming GCW’s equivalent of WrestleMania, so it’s fair to assume he’ll want to go all out.

Cardona is a former GCW World Champion. He previously beat Nick Gage to win the title.

Update: Cardona later interfered in the match between Matt Hardy and Nick Gage. Hardy then challenged Cardona to a tag team match at GCW Homecoming Night Two. Hardy and Gage will face Cardona and Broski Jimmy.

Matt Cardona Returned To TNA

Cardona also made his return to TNA on the August 1 episode of TNA iMPACT. He crashed the wedding of PCO and Steph De Lander. When asked about it, he noted that he crashed the wedding because he was not invited.
