JBL Comments On AAA TripleMania Appearance

JBL had such a great time in Mexico that he might buy his own wrestling promotion there.

The former WWE Champion made an appearance in Mexico this week, at the annual Triplemania show. JBL accompanied Nic Nemeth for his AAA Mega Championship defense against Alberto El Patron.

Unfortunately, JBL could only sit and watch at ringside as Nic Nemeth lost his title. The former Alberto Del Rio hit a low blow on the champion to win the bout. He ended the title reign that began back in March.

The addition of JBL to Nemeth’s entourage was a nice, yet incredibly unexpected touch. The WWE Hall of Famer infamously wasn’t a fan of the Mexican people (in character) during his feud with Eddie Guerrero in 2004.

JBL commented on his AAA appearance on Twitter. He called it an “incredible night”, saying that he was honored to appear alongside Nic Nemeth for the show.

He then teased buying a wrestling company in Mexico. This could hint towards JBL’s future business plans in the country going forward.

“Incredible night and show in Mexico City, honored to be a part and be there for one of our business all time greats Nic Nemeth. These guys packed em in, @luchalibreaaa -I’ve always wanted to own a company in Mexico……..”

JBL: Joe Hendry Is The Best I’ve Seen In Years

JBL is also a big fan of Joe Hendry.

In a Twitter post, the former WWE Champion called Joe Hendry’s music “the great thing I’ve seen in years”. He compared it so the famous “Rap is Crap” song by the West Texas Rednecks, claiming Hendry has surpassed them already.

“I never thought anything would equal “Rap is Crap” by the West Texas Rednecks, but @joehendry has done it. This is the greatest thing I’ve seen in years, I have spent the morning watching his videos and can’t love them enough. I have to have Joe write my comeback music. #IbelieveinJoeHendry,” JBL said in a post.
