Christian Cage files trademark for his ring name

Christian Cage Β is looking to secure the trademark rights to his ring name. He recently filed for it with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) through trademark attorney Michael E. Dockins.

He previously had the trademark rights back when he originally filed for it in 2005, but let the trademark expire in 2010 as he had returned to WWE. It’s listed for entertainment and clothing purposes. Here are the descriptions:

β€œG & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”

Cage made his promotional debut at the Revolution pay-per-view event where he signed his multi-year deal with AEW.

AEW had been hyping a Hall of Fame-worthy talent signing and Christian filled this spot.
