Trick Williams will challenge Ethan Page for the NXT World Championship on Tuesday, October 1, on WWE NXT’s premiere episode on The CW Network.
CM Punk will serve as the special guest referee. The show will be held at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
In a recent interview with PX11 News, Trick Williams blasted Page for being an “impostor” champion. He said,
“That’s right. Ethan Page is what I like to call a impostor. He came to our brand probably three to four months ago, and he stole my title. Now it’s retribution time. We’re gonna see him in Chicago on October 1st, and it’s a title match.”
Williams continued, “This is the debut of our CW premiere, so I have everything on the line, everything to gain. I’m the man to represent NXT, and I’m ready to prove that October 1st.”
Bron Breakker lost the WWE Intercontinental Title to Jey Uso earlier this week on WWE RAW, and he discussed a possible rematch in an interview with 99.5 WKDQ.

On what’s next for him: “I don’t know. I don’t back down from anybody, but certainly right now, the future’s a little bit unknown. I’m not really sure. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.”
On if he would seek a rematch with Uso if he had his way: “I think so. I think it was my championship, I have a right to a rematch. I think that’s how that typically goes. We’ll see, I don’t know. If that’s not my place and I’m needed elsewhere or something else comes up, I’ll answer the call.”
