During a backstage segment on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Sonya Deville told Becky Lynch that she will defend the SmackDown Womenโs Championship against Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules.
Earlier in the show, Belair suggested that she could have her rematch tonight but Lynch declined. Last week, Belair became the number 1 contender after winning a Fatal 4-Way match. On next weekโs show in Madison Square Garden, Lynch and Belair will sign the contract for the match at Extreme Rules.
WWE Extreme Rules will air love on Peacock on Sunday, September 26 from the Nationwide Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. As of this writing, Lynch vs. Belair is the only match announced for the show.
