AEW’s Exclusive Negotiating Window With WBD For A New TV Deal Ends Soon

AEW’s TV rights deal has been a hot topic among fans for several months as it expires with Warner Bros. Discovery at the end of this year.

All Elite Wrestling has been with their TV partner since launching in 2019 as the juggernaut of a media company took a chance on the promotion with little track history, although it showed signs of potential with a strong fan base. The TV deal was announced a few weeks before a sold-out Double or Nothing event.

As previously reported, WBD CEO, President David Zaslav, and TNT Sports head Luis Silberwasser would like to keep the five hours of AEW programming per week on TNT and TBS with Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision.

The figures that have been talked about are reportedly more than the estimated $110 million per year.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the AEW exclusive negotiation period with WBD is running out within a few weeks. It should be noted that once this window ends, AEW can talk with other networks and streamers while remaining in talks with WBD.
