Tony Khan announced during an interview with Brandon Walker on Rasslin that this year’s AEW Beach Break will take place on January 26 in Cleveland, OH.
Khan stated, “Ladies and gentlemen, January 26th, we will bring Beach Break 2022 to Cleveland, Ohio, the Wolstein Center. Minutes away from the lovely beaches of Cleveland, Ohio…January 26th, they deserve it.”
The promotion previously announced that Dynamite would take place in Cleveland on this date, but it was billed as a regular Dynamite episode along with Rampage. Both shows will have the Beach Break name.
The first AEW Beach Break took place on February 3, 2021, from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL with the main event of Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) beating Jon Moxley and Death Triangle (Pac and Rey Fenix).
