Adam Pearce Upholds Drew McIntyre’s Suspension, McIntyre Brawls With Seth Rollins

Drew McIntyre is still suspended.

Drew McIntyre was suspended for his actions at WWE Money in the Bank post-show, as he attacked officials and put his hands on RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. McIntyre was furious after CM Punk cost him his Money in the Bank cash-in. Pearce then agreed to meet with McIntyre at CM Punk’s request.

Pearce and McIntyre met in the ring in the July 15th episode of WWE RAW. The general manager brought up McIntyre’s issues with Punk and said that he knew that a match between the two could be special. Pearce told McIntyre that in order to do business, he would have to put his emotions aside. McIntyre said that he wanted the match more than anything.

McIntyre got the fans to chant for the match, and he asked Pearce to make it official. Pearce called the referees that McIntyre attacked into the ring and told him to apologize. McIntyre refused, but Pearce insisted. McIntyre again refused and said that Pearce should be apologizing to him for what Punk did to him. Pearce fired back by saying that if McIntyre refused to own what he did, he was still suspended. McIntyre was livid, and he was on the verge of hitting Pearce.

Before the situation could escalate even more, Seth Rollins charged to the ring and brawled with McIntyre. Rollins stood tall, and McIntyre reluctantly left.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
