AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 9/11, Demo Also Rises

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on September 11.

According to Wrestlenomics, 716,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and drew a 0.21 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode when 660,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.19 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with a video package following All Out where Jon Moxley explained why the Blackpool Combat Club turned on Bryan Danielson.

Mariah May defeated Queen Aminata in an AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator match. May requested that Mina Shirakawa return to AEW following the match.

Jon Moxley convinced Darby Allin to put his AEW World Title shot on the line at Grand Slam, allowing Nigel McGuinness to use the opportunity to challenge Bryan Danielson to a match on that show instead.

The main event of the show saw Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher win the Tag Team Casino Gauntlet match. They will challenge the Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Grand Slam later this month.
